Helen shares her favourite rhubarb recipe of the season. She says other fruit can be used instead of rhubarb, but rhubarb remains her favourite. 

Who doesn’t like a stew at this time of the year? This is a great, simple recipe for using up your stored onions and carrots. I did not know that using Worcestershire sauce as a main ingredient would yield such a nice integrated flavour. It has a light peppery flavour, as well, so taste before adding additional pepper to your stew. 

Sharon made this galette for our August potluck gathering. So good! I had to get the recipe to share with all of you. Note that the pastry is made in a food processor. If you don’t have one, just make your favourite pie crust recipe. Enjoy!
